Well, I actully found this chapter quite interesting. It was easy to read and also easy to relate to.
Reading snippets of these theories of adult learning in social contexts really put things into perspective. You know, you read the title and it seems like jargon, but when I started reading it I found that I could easily relate to the theories and their underlying principles. Continue reading »

So this is my first ever blog - very exciting!
Trying to keep up with the readings - I really enjoyed the Horizon reports in particular. Technology is so dynamic and changing so fast, so it was interesting to see the difference in technologies and e-trends from 2007 - 2008. Obviously social networking is a biggie - just look at Facebook. It was predicted in 2007 as being part of the first adoption (mainstrea within a year) and they were right!
